This book is in very good minus condition with minor foxing most pronounced on front and back white endpapers and a very slight old moisture along bottom spine side of outer boards . The DJ, now protected in a poly cover, is in fair shape with edge wear, edge tears, and chipping. An approximately one by one half inch piece of DJ is missing at spine bottom, a three quarter by one half piece missing at middle top of cover and a two inch by one half inch piece missing at top middle of back cover. ; This fascinating city history and guide was targeted at 1933 Century of Progress visitors and spends 16 pages discussing the World's Fair. The book is organized by geographic location . . . The Loop, Loop's surrounding areas, Parks and Boulevards, the North Side, The South Side, The West Side, Practical Information, Chicago Sights, and Where to Dine and Dance.
